JASMINE’S MEDICINAL ATTRIBUTES

Antiseptic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antioxidant.
- In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jasmine is a warming herb and regulates Qi. It is most usually used to alleviate Qi stagnation in the Stomach, Liver, and Lung meridians.
- Jasmine increases blood flow and acts as anaphrodisiac for both men and women.
- For women, it also balances and supports all hormonal challenges related to PMS, menstruation, menopause, pregnancy, and nursing, as well as recovery from birth and post-partum depression.
- A general health tonic with antioxidants like catechins and flavonoids, it helps protect cells from oxidative stress and damage caused by free radicals. This makes the body more resilient against colds and flus and even some cancers.
- In both China and India, it has been used for fever, liver disease and pain, abdominal pain, urinary inflammation, and infection.
